Fully vetted (recently neutered) young owner surrendered Chi mix. Protective with strangers (will bite if boundaries aren't respected) but very affectionate once bonded. Wants to dominate other dogs but submits when corrected and can be quite playful. Ok with cats. Children should be supervised. A little too big for his britches...needs a leader.
House trained. Knows "sit". Pulls on a leash.

Young shepherd mix. Boomer likes to play with the other dogs in the yard and is learning to walk on a leash. He is mostly kennel trained. Friendly and full of energy. OK with cats.

Australian Shepherd mix. Good with other dogs and cats. Kennel and leash trained. Will jump a fence! Loves attention.

Charlie is a beagle mix. He came in as an owner surrender because he was acting sick. Since Charlie has been here, we have not noticed any prolonged illness (he threw up once). Charlie has a sweet personality and loves getting attention. He doesn't mind cats and loves playing in the yard with the bog dogs! He is kennel and leash trained.

Echo is a very friendly character... I use character because as you can see he is one! Echo is young and has the energy to show it. He is kennel trained and loves playing outside in the yard with the other dogs.

Hound mix, was abandoned by his owners. He has healing sores on the back of his ears, we believe from flies. But he's very friendly with everyone! People and other dogs. Partially kennel trained and leash trained.
Smokey can be female dominate but does love to play in the yard with the other dogs here at the shelter. She is partially kennel and leash trained. As you can see, she does not mind cats at all!
